AstrBot
Connect AstrBot to Bamboo Relay.
AstrBot provides multi-platform AI bots with provider and plugin support. Bamboo maintains this compatibility guide; the application is maintained by its own project.
Configuration
Create a key in API Keys, and copy an available model ID from Models.

Setup
- Open provider or model settings in the AstrBot administration panel.
- Add an OpenAI-compatible provider named
Bamboo Relay. - Enter the API Base URL, API key and model ID.
- Select this provider in the default model or target bot configuration.
- Save and reload the configuration, then send a test message through the connected messaging platform.
Application notes
Use Chat Completions for ordinary conversations. If your version supports Responses, create a separate provider for a Responses-capable model. If a panel test works but the bot does not respond, check its messaging adapter and trigger rules. Test plain text before enabling plugins.
Troubleshooting
401: confirm that the key is complete and enabled. Do not addBearerin a key input field.404: check whether the application appends/v1and avoid a duplicated suffix.- A model or permission error: check the exact ID, supported protocol and API-key group.
