AionUI

AionUI provides open-source AI desktop workspace and local agents. Bamboo maintains this compatibility guide; the application is maintained by its own project.

Configuration

Create a key in API Keys, and copy an available model ID from Models.

Setup

1. Open model or provider settings in AionUI.
2. Add an OpenAI-compatible provider with a custom URL and name it Bamboo Relay.
3. Enter the Base URL and API key, then add an available model ID.
4. Save, start a conversation and select the new model.
5. Send a short message to verify the connection.

Application notes

If automatic model discovery fails, enter the exact model ID manually. Do not use its display name or add a prefix.

Troubleshooting

• 401: confirm that the key is complete and enabled. Do not add Bearer in a key input field.
• 404: check whether the application appends /v1 and avoid a duplicated suffix.
• A model or permission error: check the exact ID, supported protocol and API-key group.
